What makes a good architectural design?
There are some major factors.
1. The location of the infrastructure, how it suits its surroundings and serves its purpose.
2. We may design a building with good exterior design, and that creates a attractive infrastructure. While this is one of the aspects required, good ambience is also needed to make a architecture design "good", in a sense that when people enters the building, the interior.
3. The entrance of the architecture design, where people can enter and exit the building without having "traffic jams". Sometimes when entrance of the building is being placed at the wrong place there may be choke points that can cause massive human traffic being stuck in a place.
4. The building must be built to suit its designated purpose. If the infrastructure is to be a shopping mall, and it is located in a area with teenagers and young adults, infrastructure need to be attractive enough with clean and fashionable layout of shops to attract the targeted audience, which are the young adults and teenagers.
5. Internal design need to suit the targeted audience needs. If its mostly for the elderlies, more lifts and elevators need to be built. Stairs could be replaced by incline planes to make it more accessible to disabled elderlies.
6. Good drainage of access rainwater on rainy days are also important as it can prevent a possible "flood" when raining heavily.
